Western Missouri Medical Center is seeking an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive care before, during, and after IR procedures. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of IR or perioperative nursing experience, MO licensure, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Missouri
• Graduate of accredited nursing program
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• 1–2 years IR/critical care/perioperative nursing experience
• Knowledge of EMR systems and radiology workflows

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures with moderate sedation or anesthesia support.
• Assist interventional radiologists during procedures.
• Provide post-procedure care and discharge instructions.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control.
• Document all aspects of patient care in the EMR accurately.
• Collaborate with teams and cross-train to support other departments as needed.
• Support patient/family teaching and expected outcomes.
