Job summary

Baptist Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, FL. This role involves supporting the Interventional Radiologist, technologist and patient, monitoring, sedating, charting, and evaluating patients around procedures.

The RN will scrub in and circulate as needed, ensure sterile technique, and provide education while maintaining nursing standards. Flexibility for after-hours and on-call as required is expected.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Florida RN license or eligible compact state at hire.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required at hire.
• ACLS Provider certification required within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, sedate, chart, recover and evaluate patients before, during and after IR procedures.
• Scrub in and circulate procedures when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure quality care.
• Administer medications under physician direction.
• Demonstrate professional communication with patients and team members.
