Job summary

Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology team at Baptist South. This full-time day shift (8:00am - 4:30pm) role includes rotating call and holidays and supports IR line placements, filters, and catheters.

The RN will assist with MRI patients with implants and may support other radiology departments as needed. Required: Florida RN license, BLS and ACLS; hospital, cardiac or telemetry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Florida.
• Interventional Radiology or related department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services
• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
• Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and the anticipation of needs of the case
• Assisting the Interventional Radiologists
• Call required
