Texas Health Plano is located at 6200 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093
Work Schedule
FT, 40 Hours; 10 hour shifts, 6:30am-5:00pm, Monday–Friday with rotating days off; On call required (Must live within 30 minutes of Texas Health Plano)

What You Will Need
- Associate Degree Applied Science required OR
- Completion of accredited program in Cardiovascular Technology required OR
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of work experience in invasive cardiology required.
- 1 year of vascular or cardiac angiography preferred.
- ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire required And
- GMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist If ARRT Only Upon Hire preferred OR
- RCIS—Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist—Obtain within 6 months of hire if graduated from Cardiovascular Accredited Program
- LMRT—Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist—If you have RCIS certification only
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
- ACLS—Advanced Cardiac Life Support—within 90 days of hire required
What You Will Do
- Imaging Quality and Processing:
- Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to exam.
- Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations.
- Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.
- Correctly sends and transfers images to PACS.
