Job summary

Mercy Medical Center Redding is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, high-quality care in the IR/Cath Lab setting. You will assess patients, perform skilled procedures, and implement care plans as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• RN diploma/certification required
• Experience in IR/Cath Lab procedures and 1–3 years of Critical Care experience
• Active CA RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities

• Assist the imaging team with imaging services: patient prep, sedation, monitoring and recovery
• Apply the nursing process for planning and delivering direct and indirect patient care
• Multi-task, organize and prioritize patient care toward efficient, concise, goal-oriented outcomes
• Perform case preparation and intra-operative case execution for department needs
• Document on unit and patient records timely, accurately and concisely
• Initiate and investigate repairs, missing equipment, and supplies to ensure resolution
