Job summary

IDR is seeking an IPTV Design Engineer to join one of our top clients in New York City. The role focuses on designing scalable, supportable IPTV networks for high-profile spaces, coordinating with AV, network, security, and deployment teams to ensure post-deployment operations run smoothly.

The engineer will participate in design reviews, technology evaluations, testing, documentation, and planning, ensuring alignment with corporate IPTV architecture and requirements.

Qualifications

• Deep IPTV engineering and design experience.
• Experience designing IPTV solutions for enterprise, broadcast, events, or complex environments.
• Knowledge of IPTV architecture, distribution, endpoints, content delivery, monitoring, and operational support.
• Experience coordinating IPTV requirements with AV-over-IP networks and enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong documentation and cross-functional communication skills.

Position Overview For The IPTV Design Engineer

• The IPTV Design Engineer will provide dedicated IPTV expertise for the unique requirements of the project location.
• This individual will represent the programs IPTV design and functional requirements while working alongside the existing corporate IPTV engineer.
• The role will help ensure the IPTV solution aligns with the broader organizational IPTV architecture.
• Responsibilities include participating in design reviews, technology evaluations, testing, documentation, and planning.
• Coordinate dependencies with AV, network, security, and deployment teams to ensure effective operations post-deployment.

Requirements For The IPTV Design Engineer
