Job summary

PacAero is seeking an IPT Program Manager to drive advanced engineering and production solutions for current and future customers. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 6am-2:30pm; salaried exempt. Location: Wenatchee, WA with remote site in Sequim, WA.

Responsibilities include cross-functional collaboration, design translation, project management, and ensuring timely delivery of prototypes and production parts. Essential qualifications include an A.A. or equivalent, preferred B.S.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or equivalent experience.
  • B.S. in mechanical engineering and/or business preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools such as Salesforce and Teams.

The Company:

PacAero’s core businesses include an array of electronic connectors and housings for the world’s most extreme environments. PacAero is primarily located in Wenatchee, WA with a remote manufacturing site, Bonded Metals, located in Sequim, WA. Working together, we employ proprietary technologies, best practices engineering, and specialized manufacturing techniques to produce hermetic connectors and electronic packaging that perform in the world’s most extreme environments. PacAero’s products are hard at work in medical components, such as cardiac-function devices, on key aerospace & defense programs, in space and deep below the earth's surface.

The Position:
Job Summary

Under the guidance of a manager or other senior staff members, develop and apply advanced and innovative engineering and production solutions to address the product needs of present and future customers.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6am to 2:30pm. Salaried Exempt.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Work cooperatively with all employees.
  • Willingness to adapt work schedule to company needs.

  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Observe safety regulations and follow protective equipment requirements. Report hazardous observations to your lead or supervisor.
IPT Program Manager Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate across departments to support product development and business objectives.
  • Identify and develop new applications and opportunities within existing and prospective customer accounts.
  • Translate customer requirements into feasible design solutions.
  • Design and analyze mechanical components (concept through production), ensuring form, fit, and function.
  • Manage all phases of application development, including scheduling, testing, risk identification, and post-project reviews.
  • Maintain close communication with customers to ensure alignment and timely progress.
  • Support quoting activities, BOM development, material/process selection, and compliance testing.
  • Work with manufacturing and quality teams to deliver prototypes, tooling, and production parts.
  • Monitor market trends and emerging technologies to support strategic growth.
  • Travel occasionally to customer facilities to resolve technical issues and support sales efforts.
  • Promote safe work practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Complete projects on time and as assigned.

Education/Previous Experience Requirements
  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or a minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. B.S. in mechanical engineering and/or business preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Teams preferred
Work Environment
  • Noise: Primarily office work, minimal noise.
  • Safety hazards: None when following standard procedures and material safety data sheets.
  • Contaminants: None.
  • Protective gear: None.
  • Shift work: Monday through Friday 7:00am-4:00pm, with after-hour availability as needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing: Typical for office work.
  • Lifting: Less than 10 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity: Fine motor skills and hand‑eye coordination are necessary for manipulating tools, using microscopes.
  • Repetitive motion: None.
