Strategic Interventions, LLC is a North Carolina behavioral health provider seeking a Vocational Specialist to help adults with mental illness, substance use disorders, and developmental challenges obtain and sustain employment.

The role includes community work as a job developer and coach, with emphasis on IPS practices, treatment planning, and a team approach. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in behavioral health field.
• Attendance at IPS Vocational training required either before hire or within 120 days after hire.
• Minimum 1 year experience with adults with mental illness and/or substance abuse in a vocational setting.
• Knowledge of recovery principles and community resources.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as job developer and job coach in the community.
• Assist clients to obtain and maintain paid employment.
• Assess and develop work skills for job seekers.
• Respond to crisis situations and participate in crisis phone rotation.
