Job summary

Strategic Interventions, LLC seeks a Vocational Specialist to assist adults with mental health and substance use disorders in securing and maintaining employment. The role involves hands-on community job development, coaching, and coordinated treatment planning within a team setting.

Ideal candidates have a behavioral health background, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and IPS training completed within 90 days. Travel within the local area is required, and crisis coverage is part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience with adults with mental illness or substance abuse in a vocational role.
• Attendance at IPS Vocational training required within 120 days of hire.
• Strong understanding of IPS vocational services and team-based treatment planning.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coaches clients to obtain and maintain paid employment in the community.
• Acts as job developer, job coach, and counselor to assess and build work skills.
• Participates in crisis coverage and coordinates with treatment teams.
