Legacy Treatment Services is hiring a full-time Employment Specialist in New Jersey. You will assess vocational functioning, develop individualized employment plans, and conduct job development to place clients in roles aligned with their interests and strengths.
Responsibilities include coordinating with the mental health team, educating families, negotiating accommodations with employers, and providing ongoing supports to help clients maintain employment within the CSC/education programs.
Competenze
- Bachelor’s degree required; prior experience as a support education or employment specialist.
- Experience delivering IPS-based supported employment and education services is preferred.
Mansioni
- Assess clients' vocational functioning and develop individualized employment plans.
- Conduct job development and job search activities aligned with clients' interests.
- Provide education and support to families and negotiate job accommodations with employers.
- Offer outreach and timely interventions to maintain engagement with services.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to coordinate vocational services with mental health treatment.
