Job summary

Greiner is seeking an IPQ Inspector I to monitor and inspect product during manufacturing, ensuring compliance with GMP and QMS, under the guidance of senior inspectors, on a 2-2-3 twelve-hour shift schedule.

This entry-level role includes onboarding and training in injection molding, coordinating IPQ inspections, and documenting inspection records while supporting testing stations and ERP transactions as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred in science or life sciences.
• Experience in ISO 9001/13485 or similar regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
• 0–1 year of direct quality control experience.
• Entry-level experience with laboratory testing equipment and data processing.

Responsibilities

Responsibility

The IPQ Inspector I is responsible for the daily monitoring and inspection of product during manufacturing. The IPQ Inspector I works under the guidance of senior IPQ Inspectors, IPQ Team Lead, and Supervisor and is responsible for ensuring compliance with Quality Management Systems policies and procedures, regulatory standards, and inspection of GBO NA products. The role will be assigned to a 2-2-3 Twelve Hour Shift Schedule.

• The successful completion of onboarding, training, and inspection qualification in injection molding for pre-analytic components.
• Coordinating and performing IPQ inspection and release for injection molding pre-analytic components according to valid procedure(s).
• Progressive training and qualification in pre-analytic assembly/finished products according to valid IPQ inspection procedure(s).
• Performing timely measurement and reporting for in-process inspections.
• Inspections methods include sampling per statistical/interval plans, visual characterization, dimensional measurements, and functional evaluations using analytical equipment.
• Identify and handle non-conformance notifications according to valid procedure(s) under the guidance of senior personnel.
• Accurately documenting and submitting IPQ inspection records following Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
• Support maintenance and organization of testing stations, equipment, and work areas to support operational readiness and hygiene requirements.
• Perform periodic cycle counting and request submission to order IPQ supplies as needed.
• Performing other administrative duties to ensure IPQ operational readiness as required.
• Conduct in compliance with GBO NA Safety, Quality, HR, and payroll policies with management escalation to the IPQ Team Lead and Supervisor.
• The evaluation and reporting of product inspected and control of non-conforming products according to valid procedures.
• Initiating ERP transactions such as stock transfers and quality holds (SAP) under the guidance of senior personnel.

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or GED; Associate's Degree in Science, life sciences, or related field preferred
• Experience in an ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or similar regulated manufacturing environment preferred
• Minimum 0 - 1 year direct Quality Control experience
• Entry level experience with laboratory testing equipment, instrumentation, and analysis, as well as laboratory data processing and review
• Basic-level MS office skills
• Basic-level knowledge of statistics, calculations, and reporting

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8-12 hours
• Must have appropriate vision to perform detailed quality inspections as outlined in SOP's or TP's
