Job summary

PayJoy is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to support the General Counsel and legal team across corporate governance, transactional work, and IPO readiness. You will manage board materials, filings, and data rooms for financings and deals, and serve as the primary contact with the global corporate services provider.

The role requires strong organization, meticulous attention to detail, and prudent handling of confidential information in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a legal/related field.
• 3+ years in paralegal, corporate legal, or governance roles.
• Experience supporting corporate governance functions (board meetings, minutes, records).
• Experience managing data rooms and supporting financings, M&A, or corporate transactions.

Responsibilities

• Governance: manage calendars, filings, and compliance across U.S. entities.
• IPO readiness: maintain governance policies, records, and exhibits for registrations.
• Transactions support: build and manage data rooms for financings and deals; manage closing checklists.
