Job summary

Aeriz is seeking an IPM Technician for its Cultivation department in Riverbank, CA. This permanent, full-time role involves measuring and blending proprietary IPM solutions and applying them on-site at our Riverbank facility.

The position reports to the cultivation supervisor and offers a path to growth within the company. The role requires health/safety compliance and on-site work in a plant-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work productively independently within a team environment.
• Math required for inventory, projections, and measurements.
• Valid Driver’s License and be at least 21 years old.
• Follow company policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Apply IPM sprays in cultivation rooms following SOP.
• Mix IPM solutions from recipes.

• Monitor EC, PPM, pH, and water temperature of solutions.
• Maintain inventory and report needs.
• Restock supplies in common areas.
• Comply with health and safety standards.
• Report unusual occurrences or damage.
• Perform other cultivation duties as assigned.

Compensation: $18.00 / hour

Description

The Cultivation IPM Technician measures and blends our proprietary solutions along with application of those solutions. The entry-level position offers the opportunity to learn and grow with the Company from the ground up, and to take on increasing levels of responsibility over time. This role will report directly to the cultivation supervisor and work on-site at our facility in Riverbank, Ca.

Responsibilities

• Apply IPM sprays in cultivation rooms following strict SOP.
• Mix IPM solutions from recipes.
• Operate and clean spray equipment.
• Monitor parameters such as EC, PPM, PH, and Water Temperature of solutions.
• Maintain continuous inventory of supplies and report needs to manager or lead.
• Restock supplies in common spaces as needed.
• Comply with all health and safety standards including those of the Organization, Public Health Department and other governing entities.
• Report unusual occurrences or damage.
• Other cultivation duties as assigned.

• This position occasionally requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to apply solution with our sprayer.
• Valid Driver’s License and be a minimum of 21 years of age.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach, bend, climb, stretch and lift up to 50 pounds. Requires the manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment and hand tools.

Work Environment:

This position involves a fair amount of manual labor which requires repetitive tasks. This position operates indoors, which can reach different temperatures. This position may require working at heights up to or exceeding 10 feet. The Cultivation Department operates on weekends and holidays, and standard work hours may apply regardless of day or season.
