Job summary

The Davis Companies Inc. in Rochester, NY is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Inspector on a 9-12 month contract.

The role focuses on detailed inspections of parts and assemblies in a PCB/soldering environment, with pay $22.50 per hour and shift 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in quality inspection, IPC 610/620 or J-Standard certification, and experience with Oracle, Agile, MS Office, and related tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in quality inspection.
• IPC 610 and 620 certifications preferred.
• Experience with sheet metal and/or cables & wire assemblies preferred.
• Familiarity with Oracle, Agile, MS Office, and Copilot preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of incoming parts, materials, and components.
• Coordinate the collection and disposition of purged materials.
• Assist in determining methods and procedures for inspection.
• Work from written procedures, drawings, and specifications.
• Generate Engineering Change Requests for drawing issues noted during inspections.
