Job summary

Level One Technology in Texas is seeking an experienced Low Voltage / Security Systems Technician to install, test, troubleshoot, and service security camera systems, structured cabling, and electronic access control. The ideal candidate has hands-on field experience with low-voltage installations and can work independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

You will install IP cameras, Cat5e/Cat6 cabling, door access devices, PoE switches, and network gear, read wiring diagrams,

Qualifications

• Past experience in low-voltage, security systems, or structured cabling.
• Hands-on experience installing security cameras and/or access control systems.
• Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and plans.
• Comfortable working from ladders and lifts.

Responsibilities

• Install IP security camera and video surveillance systems.
• Install, route, terminate, label, and test Cat5e/Cat6 structured cabling.
• Install and wire electronic door access control systems.
• Install card readers, electric strikes, magnetic locks, door contacts, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot cameras, cabling, network connectivity, and access control systems.
• Read and follow basic wiring diagrams, floor plans, and installation drawings.
