Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of paralegal experience in intellectual property and litigation in a law firm.
• Strong computer proficiency and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and staff in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patent and trademark prosecution, including electronic filing of US and PCT applications.
• Prepare and file IDSs, assignments, prior art references and other docs.
• Maintain and operate the docketing system and track deadlines.
• Generate docket reports for attorneys and ensure deadlines are met.
• Support attorneys during M&A and technology licensing negotiations.
• Communicate with clients, vendors, USPTO personnel, court staff and attorneys.
