Job summary

ALIYA Healthcare Consulting seeks a skilled Infection Prevention Nurse to develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention programs across our facilities in Chicago, IL.

You will conduct ongoing infection surveillance, educate staff on hand hygiene and isolation protocols, ensure CMS and CDC regulatory compliance, investigate outbreaks, and maintain accurate records for leadership reporting. This role requires strong communication and leadership to influence safe practices.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois.
• At least 2 years nursing experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care.
• CIC certification preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control principles, epidemiology, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to educate, influence and lead staff in infection prevention practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the facility's infection prevention and control program.
