Your role

Are you passionate about solving problems?

As an NPI engineer, you’ll become a specialist in various solutions, providing expertise in Proof-of-Concepts & Customer Technical Workshops, while managing Technical Project Deliverables in Professional Service projects.

Our Team

We are an international team of over 20 Engineers located across North Europe (Benelux, Nordics & Baltics). Our team handles major accounts in the region to ensure technical deliverables in a growing and challenging business segment. We collaborate daily with customers and work closely with Project Technical Managers, Consulting Engineers, Business Development, Account teams, and R&D centers.

Our main engagement is in Post-Sales project delivery, including Network/Solution Design, Validation & Acceptance, Integration, and Migration for IP solutions. Our solutions include IP Routing, IP Anyhaul, Virtualization, Data Center Fabrics & Carrier SDN Management solutions.

Qualifications

• A master's degree in engineering or 3-5 years of experience in the telecom industry with IP technologies.
• Knowledge of industry Operating Systems, Scripting, and programming languages and techniques.
• Hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting environments.
• Eligibility for Personal Security Clearance.

It would be advantageous if you also had:

• Experience with networking protocols (BGP/MPLS, etc.), VPNs, QoS, Multicast, Security, etc.
• Experience deploying KVM, Kubernetes, VMWare, Containers.
• Experience with Linux and Python.
• Certifications such as Nokia SRA, Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Capture technical use cases and network requirements for various customers, including National & International Carriers, Enterprises & Webscale operators.
• Support customers on short international business trips, sometimes on short notice.
• Validate innovative use cases at Nokia and/or customer sites.
• Develop High and Low-Level Network Design solutions, with detailed configurations.
• Document Acceptance Test Plans and Method of Procedures.
• Apply automation techniques to improve quality and efficiency.
• Responsible for Solution Testing.
• Develop, test, and validate scripts, maintaining a library of use and reference cases.
• Present technical workshops to internal Nokia teams and external customers.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to deliver Nokia end-to-end solutions.
