Job summary

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY is sought by a prestigious international AmLaw 50 firm to join its nationally recognized IP Litigation Practice Group. The role focuses on patent and trade secret disputes across federal courts, ITC, and PTAB proceedings with hybrid work options.

Qualified candidates hold a JD from a top-tier law school, active bar admission, and 2–4 years of IP litigation experience, including patent matters. Strong research and advocacy skills are essential.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with strong academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction in good standing.
• 2–4 years of IP litigation experience including patent and/or trade secret disputes.
• Trial experience, ITC/IPR experience and related proceedings favored.
• Electrical Engineering/CS/Physics/Chemistry/biochem/ME or equivalent degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in complex IP disputes, including patent and trade secret litigation.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies in federal courts, ITC, and admin proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery and other documents; coordinate discovery.
• Conduct depositions, support trial teams, and participate in hearings and trials.
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on client service and strategy.
