Job summary

Stinson LLP seeks a highly motivated Intellectual Property Litigation Associate for its Kansas City office. You will collaborate with IP litigators across offices on patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret cases, with training from experienced trial attorneys.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in IP litigation or complex federal court litigation, strong research and writing skills, and Missouri licensure or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Excellent academic credentials and excellent research, writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task efficiently and be an independent thinker.

Responsibilities

• Manage ESI collection and production, take and defend depositions, analyze patents and prior art.
• Draft claim charts and collaborate on expert reports, drafting substantive motions.
• Prepare for and assist in hearings and trial.
