Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an associate in New York, NY with 3 to 8 years of intellectual property litigation experience to join its New York office, handling trademark, patent, copyright, and trade secret matters from inception through trial and appeal.

The successful candidate will be admitted to the New York State Bar, be able to attend NYC office four+ days weekly, travel as needed, and demonstrate strong writing, public speaking, and client-relations skills.

Qualifications

• Membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of IP litigation experience.
• Ability to be present in the NYC office at least 4 days per week.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Strong writing and public speaking skills.
• Team player with a desire to take on growing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage in direct client contact and manage client relationships.
• Conduct depositions and make court appearances.
• Lead the discovery process and draft legal documents.
• Participate in proceedings before various courts and tribunals.
