Job summary

Melaleuca Distribution Center in Idaho Falls, ID is seeking a full-time, on-site Forklift Associate to join our warehouse team. You will operate a forklift, maintain inventory accuracy, and follow safety procedures to support smooth distribution operations.

Responsibilities include using handheld scanners, storing incoming materials, rotating stock for FIFO, and assisting with restocking and loading for Melaleuca's international markets.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under stress.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Manual dexterity for duties such as driving, stocking, lifting, etc.

Responsibilities

• Operates a forklift ensuring all safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Keeps accurate inventory of stock by checking quantities, lot numbers and bin locations and reports discrepancies to Inventory Control.
• Ensures incoming materials are properly stored in warehouse locations and performs necessary system transactions.
• Maintains and rotates inventory to assure FIFO is being followed.
• Cleans and maintains warehouse area including floors, garbage, racks, etc.
• Actively participates in all safety trainings and maintains a safe work environment.
• Follows all safety procedures and removes potential hazards.
• Uses handheld scanners to perform transfers, inventory receipts, and other system transactions.
• Understands and follows all applicable SOPs and other formulation procedures.
• Communicates effectively with employees within the department and supporting departments.
• Works as instructed by Warehouse Coordinator/Supervisor.
• Help with the restocking of the store order.
• Performs other duties as assigned or needed.
• Pulls, prepares, and loads containers for Melaleuca, Inc. international markets.

Description
