Dority & Manning, P.A. is seeking an experienced IP Attorney or Patent Agent for its Mechanical Practice Group. You will draft and prosecute patent applications and provide strategic IP counsel to clients ranging from startups to Fortune 100s.

Qualifications

• Engineering or related degree with strong technical background.
• Member of the U.S. patent bar.
• Min. 2 years patent drafting/prosecution in a law firm.
• Willingness to travel and engage with clients.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute patent applications
• Partner with D&M and in-house teams to develop global IP strategies
• Draft opinions of counsel
• Conduct due diligence and freedom-to-operate analyses
