Dority & Manning, P.A., a leading national intellectual property law firm, seeks an experienced IP Attorney or Patent Agent to join our Mechanical Practice Group in Seattle. You will help clients obtain patent protection and provide strategic IP counsel supporting innovations across automotive, aerospace, and consumer devices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Must be a member of the U.S. patent bar.
• Minimum of 2 years of high-volume patent drafting and prosecution experience.
• Experience in a law firm environment is strongly preferred.

• Draft and prosecute patent applications

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position applies to the state of Washington. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for attorney positions is $165,000-230,000, or $90,000-$165,000 for patent agent roles.
