Job summary

Telit DeviceWise LLC seeks an experienced Cloud Architect to guide the technical direction of a cloud-based IoT connectivity and device management platform. You will own architectural decisions, define patterns and standards, and ensure scalable, secure production services.

The role emphasizes hands-on Go development with a strong grasp of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, data platforms, and production operations. Collaboration with DevOps, SRE, and security teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with substantial production systems in Go.
• Demonstrated experience defining and evolving architecture for complex backend platforms or distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of Go concurrency, profiling, memory management, and performance optimization.
• Deep understanding of microservices, API design, distributed systems, fault tolerance, and reliability.
• Production experience with MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, and relational databases; data modeling and performance optimization.
• Experience architecting cloud-based applications on AWS or equivalent cloud platforms; Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes in production.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation (Jenkins preferred).
• Security-focused design for PKI, TLS, authentication, authorization, and identity integrations (OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML).
• Experience designing and integrating network-facing services and APIs with reliability, security, and scalability considerations.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the technical architecture and design principles for the IoT Platform services.
• Define patterns, boundaries, integration approaches, and standards across the platform.
• Design and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Apply cloud-native design for availability, horizontal scaling, resilience, and operational maintainability.
• Work with DevOps/SRE to improve observability, monitoring, logging, alerting, and production reliability.
• Establish and improve CI/CD practices using Jenkins and automation for build, test, release, and deployment.
