Job summary

Tinder is hiring for a full-time iOS engineer in a hybrid role in Los Angeles, CA. You will help architect and implement consumer-facing features in the Tinder App, delivering rich in-app experiences to a global audience.

You’ll collaborate with product, design and engineering teams, contribute to shared frameworks, and shape analytics tooling while evolving authentication flows and account management. Strong Swift skills and Agile mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience building consumer-facing applications with native iOS.
• Full life cycle experience building applications in Swift.
• Proficient in Swift concepts (structs, optionals, generics).
• Experience with autolayout for user-facing features.
• Familiar with MVVM and Clean architecture concepts.
• Knowledge of iOS memory management and protocol-oriented programming.
• Experience building and testing large-scale iOS apps, and writing unit tests.
• Strong communication with focus on code quality and collaboration in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the architecture, design and implementation of consumer facing features in the Tinder App.
• Build compelling in-app experiences reaching millions of users globally.
• Collaborate with engineers, product and design to influence the roadmap and development.
• Contribute to internal shared frameworks and libraries.
• Shape analytics tooling and data workflows for the analytics and data science teams.
• Evolve architecture to support multiple authentication flows and account management.
• Mentor, collaborate and learn from team members.
