Job summary

Tinder is seeking an iOS engineer to contribute to the Tinder App with ownership of key user-facing features and architecture. The role emphasizes Swift development, MVVM architecture, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work setting.

Candidates should have 2+ years in iOS, strong Swift skills, and experience with AutoLayout. In-office collaboration is required three times per week in Palo Alto, CA.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building consumer-facing iOS apps.
• Swift language proficiency and understanding of Swift concepts.
• Familiar with MVVM/Clean architecture and their uses.
• Experience using AutoLayout for responsive UI.
• Experience building and testing large iOS apps and/or codebases.
• Proficient in writing unit tests and ensuring code quality.
• Excellent communication and willingness to collaborate in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the architecture, design and implementation of consumer facing features in the Tinder App.
• Build compelling in-app experiences that will reach millions of users globally.
• Collaborate with engineers and product/design teams to influence the roadmap and development.
• Contribute to internal shared frameworks and libraries.
• Shape the analytics data tools for the analytics and data science teams.
• Evolve Tinder’s architecture to support multiple authentication flows.
• Mentor teammates and share knowledge across the team.
