Job Description

As an iOS Software Engineer at iboss, you’ll have the opportunity to work on multiple technologies. Our development scope extends from device-specific driver, service, and communication protocols to cloud scalable connectivity and big data processing through third-party analytics tool integration and customer enterprise UI creation for security policy management. Responsibilities

• Design and develop clean and maintainable code for deployment on iOS and macOS systems using Swift
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define app requirements
• Optimize applications for maximum performance, responsiveness, and scalability
• Brokering network connections
• Implement best coding practices, security standards, and software design patterns
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications
• Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS development trends and technologies
• Ensure app stability and performance across different devices and OS versions
• Quickly understand and extend engineering architectural patterns
• Independently solve tough software problems
• Analyze and estimate development efforts

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience developing high-quality code in Swift/Objective C
• Knowledge of security, networking, and handling of large datasets
• Solid knowledge of network protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, TLS, QUIC).
• Experience/familiarity with Apple’s Network Extension framework
• Strong knowledge of the full software development life cycle, with experience in an agile environment
• Proficiency in debugging strategies and tools
• Experience in applications profiling and performance tuning using Instruments
• Strong analytical capability and record of independent contributions
• Experience with OO design and design patterns
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
