Job summary

Adobe Lightroom mobile iOS QE team seeks an iOS Quality Engineering Developer / SDET to automate tests, build reliable automation, and improve workflows. Collaborate with QE and development to deliver high-quality features for millions of users.

You will own test automation, contribute to end-to-end testing, and grow skills in Swift, XCUITest, and automation tooling in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a QE Developer or Software developer.
• Strong knowledge of Swift or JavaScript and at least one other language such as Java, Python, C#, Ruby, or PHP.
• Familiarity with Xcode, Swift, XCUITest, UI Automation and Full-stack web development.
• iOS mobile experience is desired.
• Photography and/or Lightroom experience is a bonus.
• Customer-focused and has a real passion for quality and engineering excellence at scale.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with QE Developers to build automation tests for Lightroom features using XCUITest and streamline automation workflows.
• Partner with QE Developers and Developers to enhance automation for feature workflows.
• Implement and support end-to-end automated solutions.
• Improve efficiency with automation tooling and processes.
• Analyze test results and drive issues to resolution.
• Build and maintain automated test labs and environments.
• Perform ad-hoc test runs on code changes for early issue detection.
• Develop high-performance, reliable and maintainable code.
• Participate in design, coding, testing, bug fixing and documentation.
• Grow with the team and provide feedback to help others grow.
• Engage with engineers in stand-ups and meetings.
• Communicate clearly and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Advocate for outstanding quality and usability for customers.
