Expedia Group in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Mobile iOS Engineer to design, build, and ship high-quality iOS features using Swift and SwiftUI/UIKit. You will collaborate with Android, Web, and backend teams to deliver scalable experiences and mentor junior engineers.

The role emphasizes AI/ML integration and strong ownership of mobile architecture in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. This role requires 5+ years in Swift/iOS, MVVM/VIPER, REST/GraphQL familiarity, and cloud/backend

Qualifications

5+ years of Swift/iOS development experience.
3+ years implementing mobile architectures (MVVM, VIPER).
Ownership of features and APIs in iOS apps.
Proficient with UIKit/SwiftUI, concurrency, networking, persistence, and testing.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and ship high-quality iOS features using Swift and modern iOS frameworks.
Translate requirements into technical designs (LLD), API design, and data models for mobile.
Implement robust, testable Swift code and participate in code reviews.
Collaborate with backend, frontend, and experimentation platforms.
Mentor engineers through code/design reviews and pair programming.
Safely integrate AI/ML-enabled capabilities into mobile apps.
Evolve shared mobile patterns, tooling, and best practices.
