Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Staff iOS Developer Experience (DevXP) Engineer to build and improve iOS tooling, integration with AI agents, and end-to-end CI/CD workflows for the Slack iOS app. You will mentor engineers, raise the bar on design, and own substantial parts of Slack's iOS codebase in a fast-paced, AI-enabled environment.

You will work with Bazel, Swift, Python, and Xcode tools, focusing on agentic SDLC workflows, automated testing, and KPI-driven optimization of build and merge times.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience building and maintaining complex iOS tooling
• Deep expertise with Swift, Bazel, Python, and Xcode tools
• Hands-on experience with Agentic SDLC workflows and AI coding agents
• Ability to monitor and improve CI/CD pipelines and KPI metrics

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain iOS tooling from CI to CD across Slack's iOS app
• Mentor and grow other iOS engineers in an AI-assisted landscape
• Lead technical design and code quality across the iOS codebase
• Promote and implement agentic automation for PRs, reviews, and boilerplate refactoring
