Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Staff iOS Developer Experience Engineer to advance the Slack iOS tooling and DevXP initiatives. You will drive the Agentic SDLC, integrate AI agents into the development pipeline, and mentor other iOS engineers.

You will own architecture for iOS tooling, tackle Bazel cache issues, improve CI/CD metrics, and ensure code quality across the Slack iOS codebase. Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience building and maintaining complex iOS tooling.
• Deep expertise with Swift, Bazel, Python, and Xcode tools.
• Hands-on experience with Agentic SDLC workflows—integrating AI agents into the dev pipeline.
• Ability to monitor KPIs such as CI stability and TimeToMerge.
• Familiarity with Apple ecosystem and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor other iOS engineers in an AI-assisted landscape.
• Own the area across Slack’s iOS codebase with high design and code quality.
• Debug Bazel cache misses and optimize CI pipelines with AI automation.
