Qualifications

• 3+ years shipping production code on Apple platforms (iOS and/or macOS) with a track record of reliability and scale
• Advanced Swift proficiency evidenced by shipped frameworks or performance-critical systems
• Deep expertise in cloud syncing architectures and media management technologies applied to consumer or professional products
• Proven technical lead experience: owning scoping, cross-team coordination, and stakeholder communication on multi-quarter features
• Strong command of concurrency patterns and multi-threaded programming with measurable outcomes in correctness and throughput
• Solid computer science foundations: data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering experience

Responsibilities

• Architect the end-to-end design of cloud media library systems, setting technical direction that shapes how millions of users store, sync, and access creative work
• Build production-grade cloud syncing and collaboration infrastructure that ships as core features in Apple creativity apps
• Own the performance and correctness of multi-threaded media pipelines, from on-device storage to cloud state reconciliation
• Drive alignment across design, QA, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver complete, polished features
• Shape product and project direction by translating complex technical tradeoffs into clear decisions for both engineers and non-technical partners
