Apple’s Car Experience engineering group is seeking engineers to support developing new features and build automotive system simulation tools. This role requires strong software engineering skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse, cross-functional team.

You will work closely with engineers, designers, and product teams, prioritizing and multitasking to deliver high-quality simulations.

Apple’s Car Experience engineering group is looking for talented engineers to support developing new features and build high quality automotive system simulation tools. This role requires strong software engineering skills and a solid appreciation of how great user experiences require deep technical thought and consideration. You will need excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work in a diverse group. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, with an ability to multitask, prioritize and follow through.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 years or more software development experience on iOS and/or macOS platforms using C/C++/Objective-C/Swift, with frameworks, application development, and user interface experience preferred.


• Experience creating system test and validation tools.


• Experience with developing software released to production environment.


• Experience with object-oriented programming and design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with/understanding of wireless and networking technologies; video/graphics and audio processing is preferred.


• Experience developing interfaces used for automated tests preferred.


• Experience with Unix/Linux preferred.
