Job summary

Concerted Care Group in Elkton, MD is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our collaborative, interdisciplinary team. You will build strong therapeutic relationships, lead groups, and contribute to integrated treatment plans within our OTP, IOP, and OP programs.

You will deliver evidence-based care, educate patients on diagnoses and treatment approaches, and coordinate with psychiatrists, nurses, and other clinicians to support recovery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience providing mental health treatment.
• Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
• Strong working knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care; EMDR experience is highly preferred.
• Comfort using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Ideal candidate comfortable working with adolescents and adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adults in our OTP program.
• Work in person at Elkton, MD location.
• Develop and maintain person-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans.
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and level-of-care determinations.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment approaches, and symptom management to support insight and empowerment.
• Design and deliver engaging psychoeducational and skills groups focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, and mental wellness.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, PRP, and fellow therapists to provide integrated mental health care.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning.
• Coordinate care with families, referral sources, and external providers as appropriate.
• Demonstrate commitment to excellent patient care as measured through outcomes like retention, attendance, and program completion.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely.
