Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health in Columbia, MD seeks a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to deliver evidence-based individual and group therapy in a hybrid schedule (Mon–Thu afternoons, remote Fridays). Compensation up to $100,000 with incentives.

Collaborative, interdisciplinary care model emphasizes patient-centered outcomes. Required: Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field; active licensure (LCSW/LMSW/LCPC/LGPC); 2+ years of clinical experience; CBT/DBT/ACT; EMR

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• Active independent licensure: LCSW, LMSW, LCPC, LGPC.
• Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience.
• Comfort using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adults.
• Develop trauma-informed, person-centered treatment plans.
• Conduct mental health assessments and LOC determinations.
• Educate patients on diagnoses and treatment approaches.
• Deliver process, psychoeducational and skills groups.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and therapists.
• Participate in team meetings and discharge planning.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely.

What You’ll Do

As a Mental Health Therapist at Kolmac, you will be at the center of patient care—building strong therapeutic relationships and delivering high-quality, evidence-based treatment. You’ll lead therapy groups, facilitate individual sessions, and contribute to integrated treatment plans within our collaborative treatment environment.

Clinical Responsibilities Include:

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adults
• Develop and maintain person-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and level-of-care determinations
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment approaches, and symptom management to support insight, empowerment, and recovery
• Design and deliver engaging process, psychoeducational and skills groups focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, and mental wellness
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow therapists to provide integrated mental health care
• Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning
• Case management services such as, but not limited to, coordinated care with families, referral sources, and external providers as appropriate
• Demonstrates commitment to excellent patient care, which is measured through clinical outcomes, such as patient retention, attendance, successful program completion, transitioning from one level of care to another
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring

Required:

• Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
• Activeindependentlicensure:LCSW, LMSW, LCPC, LGPC
• Strong working knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma- informed care
• Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience providing mental health treatment
• Comfort using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care and professional growth

Preferred:

• EMDR training or certification
• Experience working with adults in substance use recovery
• Comfort working with both adolescents and adults.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: Up to $100,000 annually

This position is eligible foradditionalcommission-based compensation tied to clinical participation and engagement. Therapists earnadditionalcompensation for each participant in their assigned therapy groups and individual sessions. With consistent census and strong clinical outcomes, total annual compensation is up to $100,000, with the potential for high performers to earn more based on engagement.
