Dayton Children's is seeking a Neurophysiology Lab Supervisor to lead intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring across neurosurgical and spine cases, guiding technologists and coordinating procedures. You will partner with the Ambulatory Manager and Chief to develop education, competency evaluations, and new protocol standards, while ensuring high-quality patient care and 24/7 availability.
The supervisor will also cover during surgical downtime as needed and implement cutting-edge applications

The Neurophysiology Lab Supervisor, supported by and in collaboration with the Ambulatory Manager, Chief and Service Line Director has authority, responsibility, and accountability for the daily planning, organizing, and directing all aspects of neurophysiology by providing functional guidance to staff of neurophysiology technologists who provide intra-operative neurophysiologic monitoring (IONM) during neurosurgical, spine, orthopedic, and all other surgical cases that requires neurophysiologic monitoring.
The position will work with the Neurology Ambulatory Manager and Chief to develop and oversee clinical education and training, competency evaluation, and new procedure protocol development in conjunction with the leadership team.
The Neurophysiology Lab Supervisor will assist the leadership team in monitoring internal and external customer satisfaction surrounding the development of cutting-edge applications and technology and neurophysiology services.
The Neurophysiology Lab Supervisor will perform duties of a supervisor, researcher and staff neurophysiology technologist as needed during surgical downtime.
Neurophysiology services can include but are not limited to the following: electroencephalograms (EEG), evoked potentials (EP) in both the clinical and surgical settings, nerve conduction studies (NCV), and intra-operative neuromonitoring (IONM).
Maintain all skills within the scope of their practice to cover any needs, such as covering clinical staff needs.
The supervisor is expected to be available for 24/7 administrative coverage to assist with any trouble shooting and or emergencies that may arise.
Required to have CNIM certification.
