Job summary

Yoh is seeking an Engineering Technician in Austin, TX on a onsite basis for an 18-month contract that may convert. Pay ranges from $25 to $26 per hour with a $1500 sign-on bonus and a tiered bonus payout after 90 and 180 days.

The role involves testing and maintaining Ion Implanters and RF Plasma Systems, troubleshooting, supporting R&D and production, preventive maintenance, and setup/qualification of new semiconductor equipment. Strong problem-solving and documentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, robotics, or related field.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Adherence to safety protocols and flexibility with shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and maintenance on Ion Implanters and RF Plasma Systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
• Support engineers and scientists in R&D and production environments.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and document activities.
• Assist in setup and qualification of new semiconductor equipment.
