Job summary

Wolfspeed, Inc. seeks an engineer to develop, qualify, and optimize Ion Implant processes in a state-of-the-art silicon carbide wafer fab. The role partners with Product Engineering and R&D to introduce new product/process technologies and improve yield and device performance.

The team focuses on continuous process improvement and effective communication of results to management, with occasional travel to sites and vendors.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or equivalent knowledge of semiconductor processes.
• Proficient in technical writing and presentations.
• Experience with semiconductor fabrication processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute experiments using DoE methodology to drive process and quality improvements.
• Analyze data with sound statistical methods to support yield and performance enhancements.
• Present technical data and project updates to peers and management.
• Travel occasionally to manufacturing sites and vendors to learn and share knowledge.
• Communicate clearly to ensure crisp execution on projects with high quality.
