Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking a skilled Ion Implant Engineer to join the Mohawk Valley Fab ion implantation team. You will sustain and optimize high-value implantation process systems using Nissin, AMAT, and Axcelis implanters to deliver reliable wafer production.

You will perform preventive maintenance, create PM procedures, and collaborate with process engineering to improve quality, reduce scrap, and drive cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 2+ years of semiconductor experience.
• Hands-on experience sustaining ion implantation equipment in a fab.
• Knowledge of fab safety protocols.
• Excellent technical writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and CIP to maximize tool availability.
• Create and maintain PM procedures and tool records.
• Support capacity increases and process transfers.
• Collaborate with process engineering and production to improve quality and reduce scrap.
• Champion safety and EHS compliance.
