Providence Swedish in Seattle seeks a Neurophysiology/Intraoperative Monitoring specialist to perform all modalities with minimal supervision during complex neurosurgical procedures.
You will contribute to developing software and procedures for optimal monitoring, ensure recordings, troubleshoot issues, and notify surgeons and IOM physicians of significant changes. Required: BS in Neuroscience and IOM credential; networking and programming experience preferred.
Performs all modalities of Neurophysiology/Neurovascular and other Intraoperative Monitoring with minimal supervision. Tasks include cerebellopontine angle tumor surgery, intracranial tumor and aneurysm surgery/procedures, spinal surgeries including surgery for spinal deformity, thoracic aortic aneurysm surgery, and peripheral nerve surgeries. Participates in development, selection, and implementation of software and procedures needed to provide optimal monitoring. Provides adequate recordings, troubleshoots technical problems, and keeps surgeons and IOM physicians informed of any significant changes, including loss of waveforms being monitored.

Pay Range: $44.35 - $68.86
