Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Team Lead Investor Reporting to oversee daily and monthly activities for investor portfolios, including reporting, remittances, and reconciliation resolution. You will lead investor reporting analysts, train staff, and ensure quality and timely delivery while improving processes.

The role requires strong communication, advanced Excel, and SQL experience, with a focus on accuracy and cross-functional collaboration to meet SLAs and support audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required or preferred.
• 6+ years of Investor Reporting experience required.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• SQL or database reporting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily and monthly activities for investor portfolios (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae, or private investors).
• Ensure timely, accurate monthly reports and remittances; resolve exceptions with stakeholders.
• Train staff on processes and changes; improve operational procedures.
• Coordinate with investor accounting and finance on reconciliations and data issues.
• Review reports for formatting, consistency, and contracts; support internal/external audits.
