Senior Director, Recruitment at WhiteCap Search

Our client, a successful equity hedge fund with a strong performance history, is seeking an Investor Relations and Marketing professional for a fully remote role. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of all aspects of investor relations, client service, and fundraising. The ideal candidate will also serve as a product specialist; capable of articulating the firm’s investment philosophy. The position offers close collaboration with the firm’s founder to help shape market positioning, support new client onboarding, and manage investor communications.

Job Function

• Serve as the primary point of contact for retail investors, addressing inquiries and providing support across various requests.
• Manage IRA platforms, coordinate with fund administrators, and interface with vendors to ensure a seamless investor experience.
• Research and source institutional platforms, investors, and allocators, and support their onboarding processes.
• Develop and maintain marketing materials, and contribute to strategic positioning efforts within the market.
• Support compliance processes by understanding and helping manage ongoing regulatory requirements.
• Respond to investor inquiries regarding technology access and account information, and clearly explain related data and figures.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• 8 years of experience in Investor Relations and Client Service within the hedge fund or asset management industry.
• Strong understanding of technology platforms, with the ability to guide investors through tasks such as performance analysis and accessing account information using relevant systems.
