Job summary

Talentedge in New York, NY is seeking a Head of Investor Relations to lead IR for a DeepTech hardware/AI company. Hybrid in Manhattan, the role reports to the CFO and focuses on building the IR function, managing investor relationships, and guiding future fundraising rounds including $100m+ deals.

The candidate has an investment banking foundation, operates in-house IR, and can translate technical developments into an investor-ready narrative, with a track record of large rounds and a builder

Qualifications

• Investment banking foundation with technology or hardware experience.
• Operator experience in Investor Relations or Corporate Development within VC-backed hardware/tech startups.
• Track record leading or supporting $100m+ fundraising rounds.
• Comfort with capital-intensive hardware/DeepTech business dynamics.
• Financial fluency with modeling and valuation, translating tech to investor narratives.
• Builder mindset to create IR function from scratch; highly organized and autonomous.
• Existing relationships with growth-stage and late-stage investors are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own Investor Relations end-to-end: build strategy, processes, and investor engagement.
• Lead investor relationships with existing and prospective investors.
• Drive fundraising with CEO/CFO and Finance: data rooms, due diligence, materials, process.
• Shape and refine equity narrative for hardware and AI tech to investors.
• Own investor communications: updates, quarterly reporting, board materials.
• Build IR infrastructure: CRM, reporting templates, KPI packs for scale.
• Represent the company externally at conferences, roadshows and events.
• Plan long-term capital strategy including growth equity or pre-IPO considerations.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Legal, and Communications.
