Job summary

Referment is seeking an associate for its investor-relations team in New York. You will support relationship managers in serving institutional investors and prospects while building a detailed understanding of the firm's investment capabilities and commercial priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1-4 years of financial-markets experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, project management and attention to detail.
• A process-oriented, collaborative approach and confidence working with colleagues at different levels.
• Commercial judgement, initiative and an interest in improving workflows with AI.
• Business-development or relationship-management experience and familiarity with financial terminology are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support relationship managers in cultivating investor and prospect relationships and responding to inbound requests.
• Keep stakeholders informed about relevant strategy and business developments.
• Help design and maintain robust product-development and prospecting processes.
• Manage short-term deliverables alongside longer-running commercial projects. Build fluency in investment capabilities, financial concepts, capital markets and client priorities.
