Basis Investment Group is seeking a detail-oriented Investor Relations Reporting and Support Specialist to enhance our Investor Relations (IR) team’s efficiency in reporting, data management, and fundraising support.

Overview

This role will track investor reporting requests, coordinate with Asset Management and Accounting to fulfill these requests, and manage data contributions to Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), fundraising presentations, and related materials. Proficiency with Salesforce will be essential, as this role will leverage the CRM to track requests and manage investor data.

Basis Investment Group is a New York based multi-strategy commercial real estate (‘CRE”) investment platform that originates and securitizes Agency, CMBS and Bridge senior mortgages, invests in subordinate debt including mezzanine loans, B-Notes and preferred equity, LP/GP equity and opportunistically buys CMBS/Agency tranches including B-pieces & performing & distressed whole loans. JOB SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Investor Reporting and Request Tracking:
   - Act as a primary resource for investor inquiries, providing timely, detailed responses and escalating issues where necessary. Maintain Basis’s investor database (Salesforce), tracking engagement metrics and feedback for continuous improvement.
   - Coordinate with Asset Management and Accounting teams to prioritize and fulfill reporting requests, ensuring responses meet investor requirements and deadlines.
2. Data Management for Investor Relations:
   - Draft investor letters for the quarterly report, and collaborate with Asset Management and Accounting to gather and organize data required for investor updates.
   - Prepare and verify data for key investor deliverables, including DDQs and investment committee reports, ensuring alignment with the latest financial and operational metrics.
3. Support for Fundraising and Investor Presentations:
   - Assist the IR team in creating materials for fundraising and investor engagement, including presentations, fund performance summaries, and marketing collateral, working in partnership with the OMS (Operations & Marketing Strategist).
   - Gather and integrate data into fundraising decks and presentations, ensuring content reflects the latest investment activity and performance insights.
   - Maintain Fundraise tracker through Salesforce.
4. Process Improvement and Documentation:
   - Identify and implement opportunities to enhance the efficiency of the IR reporting and request-tracking process within Salesforce, developing templates or tools that standardize reporting and improve data accessibility.
   - Document workflows related to data gathering, investor reporting, and interdepartmental communication, fostering a streamlined approach to meeting investor needs.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
   - Serve as the liaison between Investor Relations, Asset Management, and Accounting to ensure consistent communication and coordination on reporting priorities.
   - Participate in regular cross-functional meetings to align on reporting timelines, data updates, and investor communications.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
2. Experience in investor relations, financial reporting, or a support role within real estate or financial services.
3. Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Excel, with experience in PowerPoint for investor presentations.
4. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and an ability to work collaboratively across departments.
6. High attention to detail and a proactive approach to process improvement.
