Compensation: $110,000 - $140,000 Base Salary + Performance Bonus

About the Opportunity

A leading middle-market private equity firm is seeking an Investor Relations Analyst to join its New York-based team.

This is a unique opportunity for an early-career finance professional to join a highly respected private equity platform during an active fundraising cycle. The Analyst will work directly with senior Investor Relations professionals, firm leadership, investment professionals, finance, and operations teams while helping drive capital raising efforts and supporting relationships with a sophisticated institutional investor base.

Unlike many traditional private equity roles that follow a structured 2-3 year analyst program, this position offers a clear long-term career path within investor relations and fundraising. You’ll will gain broad exposure across fundraising, investor communications, reporting, annual meeting preparation, co-investment activity, and strategic firm initiatives.

What You’ll Do:
  • Support ongoing fundraising efforts and investor due diligence processes.
  • Coordinate investor meetings, roadshows, and follow-up communications.
  • Assist with fundraising presentations, data requests, and marketing materials.
  • Track investor activity and maintain fundraising pipelines.
Limited Partner Coverage
  • Respond to investor requests and information inquiries.
  • Partner with investment, finance, legal, and compliance teams to deliver timely and accurate information.
  • Support relationship management efforts with existing and prospective institutional investors.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Assist in preparing quarterly and annual investor reporting materials.
  • Analyze portfolio and firm-level data to support LP communications.
  • Maintain CRM and investor databases with a high degree of accuracy and organization.
Events & Strategic Projects
  • Help coordinate annual meetings, investor events, and firm-sponsored conferences.
  • Support special projects across Investor Relations, Finance, Operations, and the Investment Team.
  • Contribute to a variety of strategic initiatives within a lean
Ideal Background

We’re particularly interested in candidates who have demonstrated strong execution skills in demanding, detail-oriented environments.

Preferred backgrounds include:
  • Private Equity Investor Relations
  • Other analytical, client-facing financial services roles

(Healthcare experience is a plus but not required)
