Investor Relations Analyst

Location: New York, NY (In-Person, 5 Days/Week)

Experience Level: Entry-Level (1–2 Years)

About the Firm

This private equity firm, headquartered in New York, specializes in investments within the middle-market healthcare sector. With a leadership team that has collaborated for nearly three decades, the firm was established in the mid-2000s following a spin-out from a prominent investment bank’s merchant banking division. Since its inception, the firm has committed over $9 billion in capital across dozens of platform companies and numerous strategic add-on acquisitions. The organization operates with a lean team of around 25 professionals, including several senior partners and a dedicated group of experienced operating executives who support portfolio growth.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented IR Analyst to join our Investor Relations team. This junior-level role is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of experience in finance who are eager to grow into a long-term IR career. You’ll gain close mentorship and deep exposure to the strategic work in a high-impact, tight-knit IR team and work cross functionally with firm leadership. This role will be key to building out the firm’s highly strategic capital raising efforts.

The IR Analyst will join at a pivotal moment as the firm prepares for its next fundraise, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a top-decile platform’s continued growth. The organization has consistently, and successfully, raised increasingly larger funds with each fundraise, with the most recent fund at $1.5 billion raised in 2023. The firm has raised three dedicated healthcare private equity funds to date and anticipates launching the fundraise for Fund IV in 4Q25 with a target of $1.5 - $2 billion. The firm’s performance has consistently been top decile.

Role Responsibilities

Investor Reporting & Requests

• Manage and respond to investor inquiries, ensuring timely, and accurate communication.
• Assist with updating quarterly reports, investor letters, and presentation materials for LP meetings.
• Support the creation of press releases and FAQs; gradually take first pass at performance reporting.

CRM & Data Management

• Maintain the investor CRM with accurate, detailed records and relationship tracking notes.
• Manage the firm’s website and investor portal.

Event & Meeting Coordination

• Schedule and coordinate investor meetings, roadshows, and firm-hosted IR events throughout the year.
• Handle logistics, prepare materials, and manage follow-up to ensure smooth execution.

Strategic Projects & Operational Support

• Lead and execute cross-functional projects with a focus on firm process improvement, and data integrity.
• Support day-to-day IR operations and monitor industry trends to inform messaging.
• Work closely with senior IR professionals, gaining exposure to fundraising strategy and LP engagement.
• Contribute to a lean, high-performing team where your input and ideas are valued.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 1–2 years of experience in investor relations, finance, banking, or accounting roles.
• Backgrounds from fund placement agents, Big 4 firms, investment banking, or private funds are valued.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, clear communication skills, and excellent organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, lean environment with high expectations.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CRM systems or investor databases is a plus.
• A collaborative team player who is intellectually curious, proactive, and passionate about healthcare.
