Job summary

Overview

Investor Onboarding Specialist – Private Markets Investor Operations (New York, NY, USA). LGT Capital Partners is a global multi-alternatives investment firm privately owned by the Princely Family of Liechtenstein. The firm manages over $120 billion and provides investment solutions across private markets, with sustainable and impact strategies.

The Private Markets Investor Operations team is expanding. We are seeking a highly service‑driven Investor Onboarding Specialist who excels at coordination and maintaining a clear overview across multiple tasks and stakeholders. You will shape the first impression investors have of us by ensuring a smooth, professional onboarding experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding tasks across multiple stakeholders and maintain an overview of progress and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for investor onboarding inquiries and ensure timely, accurate responses.
• Facilitate the onboarding process to deliver a professional and outstanding investor experience.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (legal, compliance, operations, finance) to complete required documentation and due diligence.
• Adhere to AML/Compliance regulations and maintain high standards of trust, discretion, and professionalism.
• Demonstrate efficiency, accuracy, organization, and flexibility, with a strong detail orientation.
• Take ownership of tasks and oversee them through to completion; proficiency in Microsoft Office; database management experience is a bonus.
• Willingness to travel to Switzerland and other offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in a similar role in the financial industry, preferably in private equity or private credit.
• Positive, client‑centric mindset with a strong service orientation.
• Working knowledge of AML/Compliance regulations.
• Excellent English writing and communication skills; experience in an international firm is preferred.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of trust, discretion, and professionalism.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with database management is a bonus.
