Legacy Search Advisors seeks an Investor Operations Analyst to join its growing alternative investments team in Baltimore County. This role blends accounting, investor relations, and operations to support the day-to-day needs of a large investor base.

You will handle investor inquiries, maintain records and portals, support onboarding, and prepare internal reports, collaborating with accounting and operations to ensure timely, accurate deliverables in a client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (preferably in Accounting).
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles.
• Experience in financial services, fund administration, or related client services.

Legacy Search Advisors is partnering with a growing alternative investment fund administration firm seeking an Investor Operations Analyst to join its expanding team.

This newly created position offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of accounting, investor relations, and operations, supporting the day-to-day needs of a large investor base.

Rather than focusing exclusively on traditional accounting responsibilities, you'll serve as an important point of contact for investors, help manage financial information and reporting requests, and support the systems and processes that keep investor operations running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

• Serve as a day-to-day resource for investor inquiries, financial information requests, and client communications.
• Maintain investor records, CRM databases, and investor portals, including uploading documents and preparing communications.
• Support investor onboarding and ensure accurate maintenance of investor information.
• Compile, review, and evaluate investor data for internal reporting.
• Manage shared email inboxes and coordinate timely responses to investor requests.
• Collaborate with accounting and operations teams on document postings, approvals, and client deliverables.
• Maintain organized documentation and help improve recordkeeping processes.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles.
• Experience in financial services, fund administration, corporate administration, or a related client service environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems.

Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft CRM, SharePoint, or similar database platforms is a plus, but not required.
